How To Play
We've tried to keep the rules as simple and as fair as possible. These might be amended from time to time to close any loop holes that people discover.
1. Playing is free, we allow three entries per person, per round. We have measures in place to try and prevent people from playing more. Circumvention of these measures will result in disqualification. This is basically to prevent someone betting on everyone.
2. The prize fund is shared between people who correctly bet on the celebrity who dies next. If a celebrity dies with no bets placed on them, current bets remain valid. A round is completed when the prize fund is won. If you have placed an entry it will be voided when the prize is won and we will notify you by email to advise you that you can bet again.
3. We pay by cheque, if a cheque can't be delivered, we'll probably spend the money on beer instead. Enter the correct address details to ensure you receive any winnings.
4. A bet must be live for 7 days before it qualifies for payment. We do this to prevent people from betting on people who are on their death beds.
5. We will suspend betting on celebrities when they have been confirmed to be terminally ill.
6. Winners agree to have their name displayed on the Celebrity Sweepstake home page.
7. Admins' decision is final.
8. We will not pass your details onto 3rd parties, with the exception of law enforcement agencies in the course of their investigations and only on production of relevant disclosure paperwork. To prevent this we recommend not popping off celebrities for financial gains.
